Video Poker
Poker. There is an assumption according to which, it left China, then India, Perse, Egypt and from there, crossed the Mediterranean as far as Europe. Put besides its ancestral voyage, there are strong presumptions according to which it arrived to America with first French who settled in New-Orleans and who played a card deck called Poque and which implied bluff and turns of bets. It is Poque which it first used continuations of king of spades, hearts, squares and queen of clubs.
Poque migrated while going up the river the Mississippi and Ohio where it was discovered by English workmen of the railroad who probably called it Poker and brought it in the cities of the east lasting the civil war. With the invention of the chips of computer in 1970, the Video Poker makes its appearance. It combines elements of Draw Poker with the look and the feeling of a slot machine. A major difference between the Video Poker and the regular Poker is the fact that you do not play against other players (there are no calls of bluff). In fact, you try to have the strongest hand in order to obtain the best profits. Because this play implies knowledge in more of the chance, the Video Poker made million enthusiastic around the world.
To play a set of video poker, it is enough for you to put tokens in the slit INSERT COINS and to click on button DEAL (TO PLAY). The machine will distribute 5 charts to the player, all with overdraft. As it acts of Draw Poker, you can choose to keep or withdraw each one of these 5 charts. Your goal is to constitute you the best possible hand between the distributed charts and those to draw. You must obtain a pair of jack or in order to be better gaining.
To keep a chart, click on button HOLD (GUARD) under this chart or click simply on the chart. A pin will appear to indicate that the chart will be preserved and the Hold button will change then into RELEASE. If you change opinion, click on Release or the chart. After the charts to be preserved are selected, click on DEAL (TO PLAY) again, in order to receive new charts which will replace the charts that you do not wish to keep.
The new charts distributed as well as the preserved charts of the first distribution, will constitute your final play (always a total of five charts), and the play will be paid to you according to the table posted in top of your machine. You must look in the column corresponding to the number of staked tokens.
You can slip into the machine as many tokens as you wish it. To put tokens in the machine, will increase your credit of tokens and the value of the amount of the tokens. Each machine of video poker accepts tokens of 0.25$, 1$ or 5$. If you put 10$ in the machine and that the fixed value of the tokens is 1$, your credit of tokens will be 10. If you change the value fixed of the tokens at 0.25$ then your credit of tokens will pass to 40 (for 10$ of setting).
The number of tokens to bet by play (each time the lever is actuated) goes from a minimum of a token to a maximum of five tokens. The number of tokens to bet by play is posted in the meter COINS BET. The payments are posted in the table in top of the machine. The lines of this table contain the amounts of payment for various hands of poker (see the list below). Each type of hand has 5 possible amounts of payment according to the number of tokens which was staked. The corresponding column representing the amount of staked tokens lit according to the selected setting.
For example, if you play a token in a Video poker of 5$ and that you obtained a Royal Quint, you are credited with 250 tokens representing a profit of 1250$. If you had staked the maximum of 5 tokens and that you obtained a Royal Quint, you will receive 4000 tokens representing a profit of 20.000$ on a machine with 5$.
When you finish playing, you can click on COINS OUT to exchange your credit of tokens against tokens of the casino. When the tokens go out of the machine, the number of credit will be multiplied by their value (0.25$, 1$ or 5$) and the amount resulting will be added with the balance from your account of casino.
Fifth (Straight Flush) Five charts of the same color (Hearts, Spades, Squares or Clover) in a successive order but not starting with As.
Square (Four of a Kind) Four charts of the same value.
Hand Full (Full House) Three charts with the same value and two of the same other value .
Color (Flush) Five charts of same Color.
Sequence (Straight) Five charts in a successive order (the Ace can be used like higher or low cards).
